Cats and Dogs

We enjoy the problems that are presented here. What is the best way to get a cat out of tree and what is the best way to negotiate the price with this person?

All that said:

What happens when you have

1) nothing to do

2) a sharp knife

3) a large lime

4) a patient cat

5) too much tequila

6) and it's football season?

Pinetop's Boogie Woogie by Pine Top Smith

Cow Cow Blues by Cow Cow Davenport

Ain't Misbehavin' by Fats Waller

Detroit Rocks by Montana Taylor

While going through a store a few years ago; we ran across a multiple CD of Boogie Woogie Piano and we thought that we might be able to use it. Now seemed like the correct time.

Larry Ritter

The Glory of Their Times

Baseball! The beauty of this piece is the way he has captured the splendor of the game. I really like that someone convinced the NY Giants that he was needed to win. I feel for the man that completed the only triple play in world series history, it must have been a difficult thing to live with.

I have watched a fair share of baseball games, in person and more on television. It was not until June 27, 1980 that I watched the first no hitter I had ever seen on television. Jerry Reuss beat the SF Giants for the LA Dodgers 8 - 0. Then even better, I was at Dodger Stadium when Dennis Martinez pitched a perfect game against the Dodgers. It was probably the only game I have ever been to that I never left the seat from the first pitch.

Charles Kuralt

Autumn

This is a great description of the changing of the seasons. The season changes are not as noticeable here in Southern California, but we do remember what it was like. The trees here shed their leaves and them almost immediately start growing green leaves again.

December 3

Today is from KPIG and a show they have every Sunday morning called Please Stand By.

The songs are:

West Texas Waltz by the The Flatlanders (The Flatlanders created last years tag off)

My Lost Home in Your Arms by Roy Rogers and Norton Buffalo

Red Wine Again by Keith Greeninger and Dayan Kai

Please Stand By is hosted by Sleepy John and Arden; this CD was created by KPIG and celebrated the 200th show. We have been to KPIG and the hallway that the performers work in is about five feet wide and fifteen feet long. The last song was performed on the balcony to whatever crowd that was present on that day of the 200th broadcast.

Daniel Pinkwater

Of Dogs and Men

We have owned the dogs that are described. A silly beagle that would create a puddle anytime you yelled and a malamute that was always looking for a way to be alpha.

Once we left the beagle with someone and when they would take her for her last walk for the night she would not pay attention to the business at hand. Someone finally realized that yelling created the desired result and everyone could go back home.

However; the malamute on a walk, was more intent to always go in the same direction; over and over.

We're off! How do you like it so far? Please bear with us we are trying to fix it so that you can add your own comments. Until then, you can email Guy

What is it that women desire most? The ability to make comments? Or is it just the ability to decide for themselves?

Comments are back and working, better than ever.
